If you have a business account with Blue Dart, you can connect it to Mercayo directly. Mercayo checks which Blue Dart services serve each PIN code, compares them by your contract rates, follows your parcels and prints Blue Dart's routing codes on your label. Booking AWBs through Mercayo starts after the first live check on a merchant's account; until then you book in Blue Dart's own system and add the AWB to the order. Seeing the card needs the right to see orders; connecting needs the right to change settings.

Before You Start
From your Blue Dart account manager:
- your Login ID and Licence Key;
- your Customer Code and Origin Area (a 3-letter code, like BOM);
and from Blue Dart's API portal, where you create an app for Mercayo:
- the app's API Client ID and API Client Secret.
Your contract rates are optional but useful: Blue Dart's API gives no prices.
Connect It
- Open Settings › Couriers and scroll to Direct Courier Accounts.
- On the Blue Dart card, fill in the six keys and codes, then the Pickup Address (a name for it, phone, address, city, state, PIN code).
- Under Your Blue Dart Rates (Optional), type Air per 500 g, Surface per 500 g and the COD Charge in rupees, if you have them.
- Press CONNECT BLUE DART. Blue Dart checks the keys; if it refuses, nothing is saved and the card says why.
- Right after the first connect, a panel shows an address and a secret, once: send both to your Blue Dart account manager for status updates, with the secret in a header named x-api-key. Until then Mercayo asks Blue Dart about quiet parcels every 12 hours.
What Goes Through Mercayo
| Call | Blue Dart |
|---|---|
| Which services serve a PIN code, with days | Ready |
| Labels and AWBs | Live Check Pending |
| Pickup requests | Live Check Pending |
| Cancelling a parcel | Ready, for a parcel booked through Mercayo |
| Answers to failed deliveries | In Blue Dart's own panel |
| Return pickups | Live Check Pending |
| Adding a pickup address | Ready: kept in Mercayo |
Live Check Pending means Mercayo built the call from Blue Dart's published material but has not yet seen it work on a real merchant account. It is refused on real accounts, in plain words, until Mercayo checks it together with a merchant, so a wrong field never reaches Blue Dart.
Meanwhile: book the parcel in Blue Dart's own system, add Blue Dart under Own Couriers with its tracking page, and on the order press SHIP and type the AWB. The shopper gets the AWB and Blue Dart's tracking link; scans are not followed in Mercayo for a parcel booked outside it.
Once Booking Is Checked
Each parcel will get Blue Dart Air (Apex) or Blue Dart Surface by your Courier Rules, compared by your rates and Blue Dart's days; its AWB with Blue Dart's area and location codes, which your branded label prints; and, for a part-paid cash order, only the amount still due to collect.
Questions
Why does Mercayo ask for my rates? Blue Dart's API does not say what a parcel costs. With your rates, your rules can choose the cheaper of Air and Surface; without them, they choose by speed or by your list.
Where is Blue Dart's own label? It is not available through Blue Dart's API. Your branded label carries the AWB's barcode and Blue Dart's routing codes.
