The Activity Log answers "who changed this, and when?": "Every change your team made in this store, who made it and when." A price that moved, an order marked shipped by mistake, a setting someone turned off, a new team member: it is all here, in plain sentences. Open Settings › Activity Log. Seeing it needs the activity log right ("Your role does not include the activity log. Ask the store owner."); the owner and admins have it.
What It Records
A change is recorded when someone on your team makes it in the admin (or a Mercayo support session that your store can see). Shoppers, automatic jobs and scripts are not listed. Each row has:

Old and new values are shown for plain fields (price, MRP, stock, status, amount, rate, COD switches, role, title). Secrets such as payment keys are never written out.
Finding Something
- Search product, order, setting…: words in the sentence.
- Person, Area and Dates filters (Any date by default). Your filters stay in the address, so you can share a view with a teammate.
- 50 rows a page.
- "The log goes back to …": how far back the log shows (one year by default).
Export
EXPORT CSV downloads the rows you see (up to 10,000), with a Details column of the changed fields.
Good to Know
- The log cannot be edited or deleted by anyone in the store. It is removed only with the store itself.
- Changes made through Mercayo support sessions are also listed on Support Access, with the session they belong to.
Questions
Can I see who viewed something, not just changed it?
No. The log records changes, not views.
Why is an automatic cancellation not in the log?
Only people's changes are recorded. An order cancelled by the store's automatic clean-up shows in the order's own timeline.
How long is the log kept?
It shows the last year by default; Mercayo sets how far back it goes.
