Quantity Prices

Lower prices for buying more, by range or as bundles, plus spend tiers for the whole bag: where to set them and how they show on product pages and in the bag.

Last updated 19 October 2026

Quantity prices reward shoppers for buying more of something: "1 for ₹299, 2–3 at ₹249 each, 4+ at ₹199 each" for screen guards, "any 3 kurtis for ₹1,999", "3 or more: 15% off". In Mercayo they are offers made in the discount editor. The product's own price never changes; the product page shows the quantity prices as a table to choose from, and the bag applies the right one by itself. This article explains the kinds, where to set them, and what shoppers see.

To make or change quantity prices you need the right to edit discounts (the owner, admins and the Marketer role). To see them on a product you need the right to see discounts.

Ranges follow each other without gaps: "Ranges follow each other (1, 2–3, 4+). Leave To empty on the last one for “or more”. Short of the first range, items keep their own price." A bigger range must give more (a lower price each, more off each, or a bigger percentage).

Bulk or Tiered

For ranges, Pricing decides how the range applies:

  • Bulk: every item gets the range the quantity reaches (the default). Five screen guards are all priced at the "4+" price.
  • Tiered: each range prices only its own items. Items 1–4 at ₹200 and 5–9 at ₹180 means the fifth item onwards is at ₹180.

How Items Are Counted

Count items decides which items count together:

  • Across the chosen products (mix and match): a black case and a blue case count as two.
  • Per product: each product counts on its own.
  • Per option (colour, size…): each variant counts on its own.

How to Set Quantity Prices for a Product

  1. Open the product in the Product Editor.
  2. In the side column, find Quantity Prices: "Lower prices for buying more of this product. They are offers: the bag applies them, and the product's own price stays as it is."
  3. Press SET QUANTITY PRICES. A new discount opens for this product with two ranges ready to fill in (2–3 and 4+), counted per product and shown on the product page.
  4. Type the price each (or the amount off) for each range. ADD RANGE adds another; the last range's To left empty means "or more".
  5. Give the offer a title shoppers will understand ("Buy more, pay less"), check the dates and press SAVE.

Back on the product, the Quantity Prices card lists every quantity offer that includes the product, in words ("2–3 at ₹249 each, 4+ at ₹199 each"), each marked Live, Scheduled or Draft and linked to its offer. With none, it says "No quantity prices include this product yet."

The full discount editor, with dates, limits, who can use an offer and how it combines with others, is explained in Discount Editor.

How to Make a Bundle Across Many Products

For "any 3 kurtis for ₹1,999" across a whole range:

  1. Go to Discounts and create a new automatic discount.
  2. Choose Bundle price and A price for each size. Add the sizes: 2 items for ₹1,399, 3 items for ₹1,999 (sizes from 2 to 99 items, up to 5; a bigger bundle must cost more).
  3. Under One Item Is Called and Several Are Called, type kurti and kurtis so shoppers read "Add 1 more kurti".
  4. Choose the products or a collection the bundle is for.
  5. Under On Product Pages, tick Show the bundle sizes on product pages.
  6. Save.

What Shoppers See

On the Product Page

When a product is in a quantity offer marked for product pages, a Buy More, Pay Less box shows the sizes or ranges to choose from, each with its total, its price each or percentage, "Save ₹X" and a Best value mark. Choosing one sets how many go in the bag: the button becomes ADD 3 TO BAG. A hint explains the counting, for example "Mix any cases: the bag prices them together."

  • On phones the sizes are one row that shoppers swipe. The Product Page section of the Theme Editor has Bundle Sizes Layout (slider, the default, or grid) and Bundle Sizes Slide by Themselves (on by default; never for shoppers who ask for less motion).
  • Only automatic offers with no shopper condition show here. A size the bag would not apply (because another offer beats it) is left out, so the table never promises what the bag will not give.
  • Settings › Product Page › Bundle Prices on the Product Page turns the box off for the whole store.

The price on the product page and on product cards stays the product's own.

In the Bag

  • A tray shows progress: "Add 2 more guards: 4+ at ₹199 each", or for a group price "Add 1 more kurti: 3 for ₹1,999, just ₹600 more". Once reached: "Bundle complete: 3 for ₹1,999. You save ₹398." PICK opens more products from the offer.
  • For spend tiers, a line under the bag's offers: "Spend ₹1,401 more and get ₹200 off." It appears only when the bag would really get that level.

Good to Know

  • A quantity price is a discount: it has dates, can be limited, shows in the Discount Report, and follows the combining rules in Combining Discounts.
  • Percentages are rounded once for the group, to whole rupees.
  • The bag, the order and the GST invoice agree to the paisa; GST is charged on each line after its discount.
  • Personalisation that adds to an item's price is never discounted by a quantity price.
  • Quantities in a range go from 1 to 999.

Questions

Will the product page show the lower price?

The product's own price stays. The quantity prices show in the Buy More, Pay Less box under it, and the bag applies them.

Can a shopper mix colours in a bundle?

Yes, when the offer counts Across the chosen products (mix and match). Choose Per option if each colour must reach the quantity on its own.

What is the difference between bulk and tiered?

Bulk prices every item at the range the quantity reaches. Tiered prices only the items inside each range.

Can I offer wholesale prices to some customers only?

You can limit a discount to some customers in the discount editor. Such offers are not shown on product pages, only in the bag of the shoppers they are for.

Why doesn't the bundle box show on my product?

Check that the offer is live and automatic, that Show the bundle sizes on product pages is ticked, that it has no shopper condition, and that Bundle Prices on the Product Page is on.
