When you sell hundreds of products, changing them one by one takes hours. These tools change many at once, safely, with a preview first.
Change Prices in Bulk
On the Products list, select products and press CHANGE PRICES: "Change Prices of 40 Products".
- How to Change: Percentage, Amount or One Price.
- Direction: Lower or Raise, and By how much.
- Round To: Keep the exact price, A whole rupee, A price ending in 9 (₹1,349) or A price ending in 99 (₹1,299).
- Compare-at Prices: Keep them, Show the old price (a lowered price shows the old one struck through, as a sale) or Clear them.
- The example shows one product: "Aura Bloom Case: ₹599 becomes ₹539." Press Change Prices.
Categories, Brands and Weights in Bulk
Select products and use ADD TO CATEGORY, REMOVE FROM CATEGORY, SET BRAND (or No brand; brands are made on the Brands screen) or SET WEIGHT (Weight of Each Item in grams, for every size and style; empty clears it).
The Bulk Editor
EDIT IN BULK EDITOR opens the chosen products (or all) in the Bulk Editor, like a spreadsheet: Price (₹), Compare-at (₹), Cost (₹), On Hand, Search Title and Search Description for every variant. "Enter or the arrow keys move down a column. Paste a column from a spreadsheet to fill down." Save: "12 changes saved". Mistakes are marked in the cell ("The compare-at price must be above the price"). Changing stock needs the right to change inventory, and a store with more than one location counts stock on the Inventory screen instead. If someone changed the same products meanwhile, it asks you to reload first.
Brands
Products › Brands: "The makers you sell. Products show their brand, and shoppers can filter by it." Add Brand with a Name, Handle, About the Brand and Logo (a square picture works best). Each brand shows how many products carry it. Removing a brand leaves its products without one ("The products themselves stay.").
The Trash
Deleting a product moves it to the Trash: "Deleted products wait here for 30 days, hidden from shoppers, then they are removed for good." The days are Days in the Trash in Settings › Product Page (Catalogue card, 1 to 90, default 30). Restore brings a product back as it was; Delete Forever removes it now ("This cannot be undone. Its photos are removed too, unless another product shows them." "Orders keep their lines and invoices.").
Questions
Can I undo a bulk price change?
Run another change the other way, or restore from your last products CSV. Check the example before you confirm.
Does a bulk price change affect orders already placed?
No. Orders keep the prices they were placed at.
