Forms lets you build forms of your own, beyond the contact form: a wholesale enquiry, a booking, a survey, a sign-up for a workshop. "Your own forms, like a wholesale enquiry or a booking. Place one on a page with the Form block; what shoppers send lands in the Inbox." Open it from Online Store › Forms (on a phone: More, then Forms).
Building a Form
NEW FORM asks for a name, then opens the form with three questions to start from: a name, an email and a message. Change them, remove them, or ADD QUESTION of one of ten kinds:
| Kind | What the shopper does |
|---|---|
| Single Line | Types a few words (it can be letters only, digits only, a PIN code, a GSTIN, a PAN or a web address) |
| Paragraph | Writes a longer answer |
| Types an email address | |
| Phone | Types a phone number |
| Number | Types a number, between the lowest and highest you set |
| Date | Picks a date |
| Dropdown | Chooses one of your choices from a list |
| One Choice | Chooses one of your choices, all shown |
| Checkboxes | Ticks several choices, or one box (like an agreement) |
| Section Heading | Nothing: a heading that groups the questions under it |
Each question has its words, whether it is Required, a placeholder, a help line, and half or full width. The form saves itself a moment after each change.
After Sending
- Thank-You Message: what shoppers read after sending (empty: a short thank-you).
- Go to a Page Instead: a page of your store, like
/pages/thank-you. - Email Each Submission To: one address that gets every submission.
- Confirm by Email: the shopper gets your confirmation message at the email they gave. It never repeats their answers, so nobody can use your form to send others their words.
Putting It on a Page
PUBLISH makes the form live. In the page editor, add a Form block to any page and choose the form. While a form is a draft, the block shows nothing.
Where Submissions Go
Every submission lands in the Inbox with the form's name, each answer under its question. Submissions in the Inbox in a form's menu shows only that form's. Deleting a form keeps what shoppers sent.

Questions
How is spam kept out?
The same way as the contact form: a hidden field robots fill in, a form sent faster than a person types, five submissions an hour from one sender, and a daily limit for the store.
Can I export the answers?
Yes. In the Inbox, tick submissions and choose EXPORT CSV, or export the whole view. Each question becomes a column.
