Your admin always works at Mercayo's own address. On the Growth and Scale plans you can also open it at an address of your own, like admin.yourbrand.in: "Open your admin at your own address, like admin.yourbrand.in. Your team signs in there; it opens this store only."
Add It
- Connect your store's domain first (Connect Your Own Domain).
- In Settings › Domains, under Admin Address, the address is filled in for you: always
admin.followed by your domain. Press ADD ADMIN ADDRESS. - A Set Up card lists its two records: a TXT record that shows the domain is yours and a CNAME for
adminpointing to Mercayo. Add them at your domain provider, or press SET UP RECORDS if you have connected Cloudflare. - Once it shows Connected (Mercayo gets its secure certificate by itself), Open it.
Your Team's Access
- The sign-in page says Sign In to your store's name.
- Only your store's team can sign in. Anyone else sees "This account is not on …'s team. Ask the store's owner to invite you." Invite people from Settings › Staff as usual.
- Two-step sign-in works the same as on Mercayo's address.
- The address opens your store only: no other store, and never Mercayo's own team screens.
- Signing in there is separate from signing in on Mercayo's address (each address keeps its own sign-in).
To stop using it, open its menu under Your Addresses and choose Remove Domain. Your admin keeps working at Mercayo's address.
