Plan Add-ons is where you add to your Mercayo plan: a feature pack that brings a few of the next plan's features to your plan, or more of something you use, such as AI credits, messages or storage. "Add a few of a bigger plan's features, or more of what you use." Only the store's owner can buy; the team can look. This tour takes you through the screen from top to bottom.
Step 1: Open Add-ons
Open Settings, press Plan and Billing, then SEE ADD-ONS on the Plan Add-ons card ("Feature packs for your plan, AI credits, messages, storage and more."). You can also press Ctrl K and type "Plan Add-ons".
Step 2: Read a Pack's Card
Feature Packs: "A few of a bigger plan's features, together, for your plan." Each card shows a picture of the feature, its name, what it is for, What you get (the features in it), the price a month, and the plans that include it. A pack is offered only to the plan below the one that includes it:

Prices are before 18% GST, as listed today; the screen always shows the current ones. A pack your plan already includes is not shown: it is part of your plan.
Step 3: Buy a Pack
Press BUY on a pack. The sheet says what you pay ("You pay … (… plus 18% GST) monthly…"), and that the pack is charged with your plan: the days until your plan's next payment are paid now, then the pack is paid with the plan each period. It also tells you what your packs come to against the next plan, with this one counted in: "With this one you would pay ₹648 a month in add-ons. Growth includes all of them and 24 more features for ₹152 a month more.". Press CONTINUE TO PAYMENT and authorise it on Razorpay's page; the pack is on as soon as it is authorised.
Step 4: Use Its Features
The pack's features open at once, set up as you left them if you used them before: their screens lose the Growth or Scale chip, their settings can be switched on, and your store shows them to shoppers. A locked feature's screen also tells you which pack brings it: "Or buy the Loyalty add-on for ₹299 a month, plus GST." with SEE ADD-ONS.
Step 5: See What Your Packs Come To
With a pack, Plan and Billing and Add-ons show what you pay in packs against the next plan, worked out from your own packs and today's prices: "You pay ₹648 a month in add-ons. Growth includes all of them and 24 more features for ₹152 a month more." When the next plan costs less than your plan with its packs, it says so: "You pay ₹897 a month in add-ons. Growth includes all of them and 22 more features, and costs ₹97 a month less than you pay now." Press SEE GROWTH to compare the plans.
Step 6: Move Up a Plan
When you upgrade to a plan that includes a pack, the upgrade sheet tells you: "Your plan will include COD Protection: those add-ons end now, and the days you paid for come back as credit." After the upgrade, the pack ends at once (nothing more is charged for it), the unused days of what you paid for it come back as Mercayo Credit (taken off your next payment), and the owner gets an email: "Add-on Included in Your Plan". The features stay on, now from your plan.
Step 7: Add More of What You Use
More of What You Use: "Paid for as you use them, on any plan."
- AI Credits: more credits for the AI Section Builder and the admin assistant ("500 credits for ₹499"), bought from your wallet. OPEN WALLET.
- WhatsApp and SMS Messages: each message is paid from your wallet as you send it. OPEN WALLET.
- Extra Storage: more space for pictures, videos and fonts. BUY.
- Store Design: our designers build your store's look with you (Store Design). OPEN STORE DESIGN.
- Product Designer, Sell to Businesses and Shopper Assistant: each with its price and the plans that include it. BUY, or MANAGE when you have it.
Comes with a Plan lists what is never sold on its own: removing Powered by Mercayo (Growth and Scale), 1,500 store chat conversations a month and priority support with a named contact (Scale).
Step 8: Manage or Cancel a Pack
A pack you have shows On and MANAGE, which opens Add-ons on Plan and Billing. There, CANCEL ends it at the end of the period you paid for; nothing you set up is deleted. When it ends, its features pause until you buy it again or move to a plan that includes them.
Step 9: See What a Report Looks Like
A report your plan does not include (Profit and Loss, Product Insights) shows the lock, the plan's price, the pack that brings it where there is one, and a picture of the report on a demo store: "What Profit and Loss Looks Like".
Questions
Can I buy one feature on its own?
No. Features come in packs that work together, and a pack is only for the plan below the one that includes it.
Is it cheaper to buy packs or to upgrade?
The screen works it out for your store: what your packs come to against the next plan, and how many more features the next plan brings. Often a few packs cost more than the upgrade.
Do the prices include GST?
No. Prices are before 18% GST, and every payment gets Mercayo's GST invoice.
